Episode 1
Kambala is a proud community of rigorous thinkers. In Part 1 of this inaugural episode of The Kambala Voice Podcast, Principal Jane Danvers will invite you to consider the idea that Your Voice Has Power, spinning off the rousing address made by Sunita Gloster at the State Theatre, at the end of 2021. Sunita is CEO Gloster Advisory and an experienced commercial leader, as well as being an advisor to the United Nations. You’ll hear Sunita speak about a number of burning issues, including the broader lessons of Covid-19, workplace culture, the gender pay gap and the important questions that need to be asked by young women on the brink of adulthood and their professional careers. You’ll also hear the voice of alumna Anjalee Desai from cohort 2021, as she embarks on her tertiary education journey within Cambridge University, where she will read law. Furthermore, you’ll discover the thoughts of several of Anjalee's key educators, Kambala’s Head of English Lauren Walsh and Head of Religion and Philosophy, Fiona Isaacs, both of whom will discuss how the power of a voice might emerge in the classroom.
